I sure did and wasn’t impressed by the ending. It seemed less than the series deserved. I had stopped watching Lost the last few years because it just got hokier and hokier to me as it moved from this to that time realm so much that you could get lost in the last one while they were cavorting two ahead. Stopped watching Heroes for the same reason.
— from an email from my grandmom, on the end of Lost. I can’t say as I disagree with her—the last season really made the flaws over the past six season obvious. I watched it, due in large part to inertia. The ending was just… it wasn’t awful, but it forced me to think about the series as a whole, rather than a series of loose bits that I kinda liked (Miles, Claire/Charlie, etc), and made me like the series less than I did before.
