“Zero”
“All the world’s a stage” is not a new notion, but Barney Clay’s clip for “Zero” executes the concept literally, and with exceptional pizazz. Karen O has never seemed more glamorous or more down to earth, and the pacing of the narrative and imagery is perfectly matched to the build to the song’s ecstatic climax. This is a very stylish and simple video, and it is successful in making O’s custom “Zero” jacket as iconic as Billy Corgan’s “Zero” t-shirt.
I think I like the video more than the song, but it is a pretty strong video.
