hahahahaha! i TOTALLY forgot about that!!!! we were such weirdos! dutch girl= juliette. i’m pretty sure elizabeth was there too. bc she’s who would’ve told me that banana peels get you high. and i’m the dingbat who believed her! where were my parents! haha. thank you for holding on to that. i remember it so well now. banana peels don’t get you high. btw. haha. and about teen angst. everyone went through that. i hated it there when i first moved. i didn’t go out. i had lunch by myself. i will never forget. 1st day of school. i legit had lunch in the bathroom. by myself. bc i only knew nuria. and she had b lunch and i had a lunch. OHMGOSH.  but within a month…i knew more people and  i LOVED it.

True story: I watched Mikk roll a joint once. This would’ve been like a couple weeks into my senior year. I had the other guy for 12th grade whose name I can’t remember— kinda round, laughed at all his jokes? So Mikk was this symbol of terror and fear until he straight up rolled a joint after school.
More True ASM Stories: Rossy Pizarro was the first girl I met in Spain, because my mom knew her dad and I was forced to go to some party they were throwing. Rossy had a friend who was leaving the next day who was crazy cute who I spent most of the night talking to.
-Jessie Manhard was the next girl I met in Spain, because I went to the embassy to get something and got on the elevator at the same time she did. She said something kinda funny, like “Whoa, a new guy!” and we ended up breaking the ice.
-I first met Sherese when, on the second week or so of school (it was pretty early, but some time had passed), I heard someone yell “DAVID BROTHERS!” and I turn around and bam, there’s Sherese and Honda trying to get my attention.
-I dated Andrea for like three days late junior year.
-I remember going to Fiestas (was that what that huge block party was called?) for I think the first time with Drew, Nick, Nigel, and Juri and we were all learning how to breakdance. I remember Jenn coming out for Fiestas, too. We stayed out way later than we told Drew’s parents we would. We found out that they came to get us when, no lie, Drew did this spin into a back handspring move he’d been practicing and he lands and holy crap his mom is right there in front of him.
-One time we (Jenn, you were there, so was Nikki, Liz [who was pounding 40s] all went out to BK near Juri’s place and me and Sherese missed the last bus to Pozuelo. We had to walk all the way back and Sherese was drunk, so it took forever. I got in so much trouble.
